You won't get bored in Lucerne even on a rainy day. There are a lot of things you can do without the need of sunshine. Some of them we listed here:
Swiss Transport Museum
The Swiss Museum of Transport and Communication consists of the Museum of Transport, Switzerland's only IMAX Theatre and large planetarium, the Hans Erni Museum, along with numerous other attractions. TThe Swiss Museum of Transport is the country's most visited museum and a favourite destination for excursions .www.verkehrshaus.ch
The Rosengart Collection
The Collection comprises well over 200 works by 23 different “Classic Modernist” artists. These include 125 works by Paul Klee and some 50 by Pablo Picasso. Other artists represented include (in alphabetical order) Bonnard, Braque, Cézanne, Chagall, Dufy, Kandinsky, Laurens, Léger, Marini, Matisse, Miró, Modigliani, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Rouault, Seurat, Signac, Soutine, Utrillo and Vuillard. www.rosengart.ch
The museum of history, Lucerne
A new concept makes history come alive. There are Theatre Tours trough the collection. Professional actors assume various roles and bring to life the world of history. Several times a year we compose new tours for adults, children or families.

Glacier Garden Lucerne
It is Nature’s own monument to its history, with a park and museum. It is also a tourist attraction and an oasis of peace from busy Lucerne life. Glacial potholes of impressive proportions bear witness to the last ice age and to the fact that Lucerne was once covered by glaciers. Fossilised mussels and palm leaves show that some 20 million years earlier Lucerne was a subtropical beach.www.gletschergarten.ch
Landscape and Animal Park Goldau
The Animal Park lies in the middle of a massive boulder-strewn area of Goldau and is home to a variety of wildlife. On 17 hectares of natural wilderness deer, bears, muflons, lynx and birds of prey can be observed close-up. Around 90 native and European species have found a home that meets their requirements in their ample enclosures. The Animal Park can be visited throughout the year. Young and old have lots to see and discover. The animals walking freely between the enormous rock formations, the picnic areas, the guided tours, the exhibitions, the zoo information stands and other attractions encourage people to meet the animals – 365 days a year!. www.tierpark.ch
